1. Buying tickets
When you buy a ticket through Ticketzum, the sales contract is between you and the organiser named on the event page. Ticketzum facilitates the checkout, processes payment via Stripe and delivers your ticket electronically.
2. Pricing
Ticket prices are set by the organiser and shown in GBP inclusive of VAT where applicable. The order total — including any booking fee — is shown clearly before you pay.
3. Booking fees
Ticketzum adds a booking fee to each paid ticket: £0.75 per ticket priced £9.99 or below, or £1.49 per ticket priced £10 or above. Free tickets have no booking fee. Fees are VAT-inclusive. The fee is shown as a separate line at checkout.
4. Payment methods
We accept major debit and credit cards through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure hosted checkout and are never seen or stored by Ticketzum.
5. Digital ticket delivery
Tickets are delivered by email to the address you provide at checkout, and are also available in your Ticketzum account and via the secure order link. Where wallet passes are enabled you can add your ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
6. QR codes
Each ticket carries a unique QR code scanned at the door. Do not share your QR code publicly — the first successful scan admits the attendee and later scans of the same code will be rejected.
7. Backup ticket codes
Every ticket also has a short human-readable backup code that door staff can enter manually if a device cannot read the QR code.
8. Entry requirements
The organiser may impose entry requirements (age, ID, dress code, etc.). These are shown on the event page and it is your responsibility to comply.
9. Ticket validity
A ticket is valid for the specific event, date and (where applicable) seat or table it was purchased for. Tickets are void if altered, defaced or obtained fraudulently.
10. Ticket transfers
You may give your ticket to another person to attend in your place unless the organiser has explicitly disabled transfers on the event page. Where transfers are enabled, the person presenting the QR code at the door is admitted; ID matching is at the organiser's discretion.
11. Lost tickets
If you lose your email, sign in to your Ticketzum account or use the passwordless Find my tickets flow to have a secure link re-sent to the email address used at purchase.
12. Event cancellations
If the organiser cancels the event, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price and the booking fee. Refunds are processed via Stripe back to the original card, typically within 5–10 working days.
13. Event postponements
If the event is postponed, your ticket normally remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date you may request a refund from the organiser, subject to consumer law.
14. Refunds
Refund decisions are normally made by the event organiser, except where UK consumer law requires otherwise (for example, cancelled or materially changed events). To request a refund, contact the organiser using the details on your booking confirmation. If you cannot reach them, email support@ticketzum.com.
15. Customer behaviour
The organiser and venue may refuse admission or eject any attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful or in breach of venue rules. No refund is due in such cases.
16. Venue rules
You agree to comply with the rules of the venue hosting the event, including bag checks, prohibited items and any recording restrictions.
17. Fraudulent tickets
Only tickets purchased directly through Ticketzum are guaranteed valid. Tickets bought from third parties, screenshots re-used by another attendee, or tickets flagged as fraudulent may be voided without refund.
18. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK law. Live event tickets are generally exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
